At this point I was growing a little impatient, so I threw-in the tonearm mount so I could power everything up and see what the results would be.
However, once I installed this nasty looking thing I couldn't bear looking at it very long:
I mean everything, even the tonearm wiring, had a uniform coating of oil and dirt on it!
So I took it out, took quite a few pictures, and took it apart:
Pieces destined for paint were prepped and painted:
And to paraphrase an old saying, Assembly was simply the reverse of Disassembly, resulting in this:
I have to admit that I powered-up the unit at this point and tried to at least get the Magazine Motor to spin.
But it didn't turn, or at least it didn't do so properly, so I will cover the reasons why (misadjusted switches) and how to set them up properly in a further Post, along with video links showing the procedures I used.
